One Direction - Forever Young Full Song

Even though they didn't win the X Factor I'm really excited about this group. If they work with the right people they have massive potential... and with Uncle Simon Cowell (as they refer to him) fully behind them I think the world better watch outttt... The boy band is def back!!!

JLS Ft. Tinie Tempah - Eyes Wide Shut (CDQ)

The new JLS album came out this week, and let me just say... I AM IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN. It's a great album, with a ton of really fun upbeat tunes, plus so excellent ballads as well. The boys definitely know what they are doing :)

I CAN NOT wait to see their tour... less than two weeks now!!! HOLY HELL I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

In the meantime, check this tune... its my fave off the album and has a feature off Tinie Tempah, so basically my two faves in one.

B.o.B - Don't Let Me Fall [Official Music Video]

It's absolutely no secrat that I think B.o.B is probably the most exciting thing to happen to the American charts this year (if only Tinie Tempah came here!)... this is my all-time FAVE B.o.B track--and now its a single!!!

(Full Version) Take That "The Flood" X Factor 2010 Live Results Show 6

The build up was out of control, the performance was amazing, I cried.

(In other news Westlife were ehhh).

JLS perform Love You More - The X Factor Live results 6 (Full Version)

OMFG I LOVE ITTTT!!!!

Th build up is amazing of course, and then the performance is superb. Love them soooo much!!!

Happy Boy Band Day!!!

Today is like boy band Christmas for me, hahaha. You're probably wondering, what the hell is this girl talking about...

Well... today is the release day for two bands new albums, and two more bands are releasing their newest singles (albums in a week). PLUS, three of these afforementioned bands are performing live in the X Factor tonight, which just adds to the excitement!

So I'm sure you're wondering, what bands is she on about, I didn't think boy bands existed any more. Well... you're dead wrong. Boy bands do exist still, they just can't survive in the American market where everyone is so jaded by the early 2000s. In the UK they are thriving, still dominating the charts, and new bands are coming on to the scene all the time (although I think The Wanted are awful, One Direction on X Factor has A TON of promise).

1. McFly - Single Shine a Light came out last week and the new album Above the Noise is out today. I'm trying to figure out a way to get this album, along with the others... I am particularly excited to hear the song "I'll be Your Man" which is getting rave reviews. Current single "Shine A Light" is AMAZING, and features Taio Cruz. (Yes, that's right... TAIO CRUZ... I told you boy bands are doing fine).

2. Westlife - New single "Safe" which I haven't heard yet, is being performed live on the X Factor tonight. Album Gravity out next week. Westlife are probably my least favorite of the four groups, but I love love love their harmonies. Immense.

3. Take That - WITH ROBBIE WILLIAMS. OMG. Take That are like THE boy band to end all boy bands. They were huge in the 90s, took a break, and have since reunited and taken the world back. Robbie Williams is the last to rejoin the group, having held out to do some solo work. Their new single "The Flood" debuted on the UK Charts at #2 this past week and their new album Progress is out today. They are also performing live on the X Factor tonight--the first live TV performance for the group since Robbie came back. So of course it is going to be HUGE.

4. JLS - My fave hahaha. Their newest single "Love You More" is out today. It's the Official Children in Need single this year, which means 100% of proceeds go to the charity. You'd be an idiot not to spend the pocket change to buy it. Their newest album, "Outta This World" is out in a week and I am DYING with anticipation. Early reviews are favorable, and there is apparently hints of dub step and electro beats on it. I love how JLS have adapted the boy band thing to the new market that is so heavily influenced by grime these days. Very cool. But of course they are just as capable as the others of producing a solid ballad, hence "Love You More." They are returning to the X Factor, the show that made them what they are, tonight to perform alongside Westlife and Take That. Pretty crazy for them, to go from being on the show to returning with the two biggest boy bands of all time.

So anyways, Happy Boy Band Day!!! I'll follow-up with album reviews and clips of performances!

xoxo Nora

Cher Lloyd sings Stay - The X Factor Live show 4 - itv.com/xfactor

This girl is probably going to win, and if she doesn't she'll get second and have a crazy successful career. Regardless, I will be getting her album when it comes out ;-)

Cheryl Cole Promise This Official Music Video HQ

She's so amazing, I wish I was her.

This is a really great tune, with an excellent twist on a classic French nursery rhyme. I love her sooo much and if I could be someone in another life I would totally love to be her. She is just so cool.

JLS, Travie McCoy - Billionaire - MOBOs 2010

BAHHH I LOVE ITTT!!!

Bruno Mars better watch out... I would absolutely LOVE to see JLS do a live lounge cover of Bruno Mars "Just the way you are"... would be amazing.

Thie performance was my favorite from the Mobo's, which in all turned out to be a bit boring. I think the other highlight for me was N-Dubz... which is saying a lot ;-) Tinie Tempah, Jay Sean and Tinchy all performed but it wasn't anything new and exciting really... would have liked for them to really mix it up a bit. The closer was fine, but it could have been even cooler ;-) And Tinie should have busted out a little bit of Wonderman. Just sayin.

JLS stole the show... and picked up the two top awards ;-)

Usher

Debating dropping 50 bucks to go see Usher on his arena tour this winter... thoughts?

I'm pretty set on going, just gotta buy the tickets I think. I gotta see some OMG action live... as well as a little DJ Got Us Fallin In Love and Hottt Toddy ;-)

The best bit, its a week before J to the L to the S! (WHICH IS GOING TO BE SIIIIICK).

Tinie Tempah - Wonderman (feat. Ellie Goulding)

HOLY SHIT... TUUUUUNE.

Great collab combo! Can't wait for them to release it as a single... can only imagine the vid/live performances its going to create!

Jasooon Derulooo

Last night I went out to Milwaukee to see Jasooon Derulooo. I was a bit skeptical about how the show would be, seeing as he's known for being a big fan of the auto-tuner, but I was quite surprised!

The performance was AHHHMAZIN. Even though the the stage was small, Jason was up dancing with four back up dancers! His moves were right on, and the outfits he had were great. (Not gonna lie, loved the bit when he ripped his shirt off...) His vocals were quite on, although the bass was so high it was hard to hear sometimes.

Best song of the night? He did Ridin' Solo acoustic... was siiiiick. (He did it dancy too).

Check the pics ;-)

McFly featuring Taio Cruz - 'Shine A Light' Official Video

Here's a super cool collab! Everyone in the US has this weird view of what Taio Cruz is all about, but in reality he's even cooler than you'd think. He produced this track with McFly, which I must say is muchhh better than their last track.

JLS - Love You More [Official Video]

OMFG!!!!

I'm pretty sure this is my favorite single yet, which says a lot when you look at what their other ones were. I'm dyinggg right now!

I think the black and white is an awesome touch, and the video is incredibly well done. It just goes to show how versatile they are that they followed The Club Is Alive up with a ballad like this. And like I said before, they definietly needed to follow Club is Alive with a song that was vocally challenging. THIS IS IT.

I'm SO pumped to see them perform this live (AND I WILL SEE IT... LONDON O2 ARENA: DECEMBER 10!!!)

I know this lady who is obsessed with Barry Manilow. She literally flies out to Vegas three times a year to see him perform. I think that is awesome. Well, JLS is my Barry Manilow ;-)

N-Dubz - Best Behaviour (Official Video - Out 17th October)

Two things I love about this song?

1. Dappy on autotune is actually pretty amazing.

2. N-Dubz is doing a ballad!!!

Great jam, I like the direction this group is going. If they keep it they could def crack the US. Na na Niiiiiii.

Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are [Official Video]

Cher Lloyd's X Factor Audition (Full Version)

The X Factor is back so obviously I'm watching every single episode of it... This is my favorite audition so far. This girl is only 16 years old but she's got the making of something MASSIVE! I love her swag (and her jacket) and I hope she makes the live shows!!!

New Boyz - Break My Bank (feat. Iyaz) Official Video (1080P HD)

I wasn't too sure about these guys at first. Well, to be fair, I had no idea who they were... but I'm really starting to get into their sound. This is their new single, and its got a great summer vibe and features IYAZ doing what he should be doing (no more slow stuff PLEASE).

I'm super pumped too because these guys are coming to Madison to play on September 4th... FOR FREEEEE. Definitely going to hit that show, should be great!

The Script - For The First Time

New music from The Script!!

The Script reminds me of when I went to Europe... I first discovered them when I was in London actually, they were playing over the radio in a Starbucks or something and I really really liked it and jotted it down and then looked them up when I got back to my place in Paris at the end of the week. Whenever I listen to them I think of that day when it was pouring down with rain and I was in the back of Starbucks trying to dry off and warm up before heading to the British Museum. Great times.

I think I just posted the song, but here is the video... AHHHMAZIN.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Tinie Tempah.

Tinie Tempah ft. Eric Turner - Written in the Stars (Official Audio)

TUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNE.

God why is Tinie Tempah so amazing?

LONDON, PARIS, (TOKYO)

Ok so those are lyrics to a JLS song, but two of the three might actually mean something... because umm... I'M GOING TO LONDON AND PARIS THIS WINTER!!!!

Yeah that's right.

December 4th I'm tentatively jetting off over the pond for a little over a week of super fun exploring in Europe! My roommate Matt and I, both of us having studied in Europe in college, are looking to have a bit of a vacation from work and head back over to the places that are near and dear to our hearts. We haven't officially decided on anything yet... Well, I've made it pretty clear we are going to London... and Paris seems like a good city to couple with London (easy travel between the two).

Here is where you all get to MASSIVELY roll your eyes at me...

Remember this post?

So, when I bought those tickets I never thought in A MILLION YEARS that I would actually be able to use them... but now I FOR SURE AM!!! Which of course has me pumped beyond all belief.

So yeah, London is a definite. Already have my time off from work ok'd and everything. Now just gotta book flights and hotels and all that... but OMG SO PUMPED!!!

JLS at Z103.5 Summer Rush 2010

New JLS Tune!!!

Rumors are they are prepping it for release in North America. I could actually see this doing really well over here... its the sort of tune that gets stuck in your head and whoever the female feature is (Rihanna? Keri Hilson? Nicki Minaj?), they'll definitely help the boys out a bit with busting the boyband stereotype.

My question is whether or not they will release this stateside and then release something else in the UK (rumor is their next single over there is called Love You More). Will this mean the boys are promoting two different singles? Because I'm actually totally fine with that... just means more JLS for all of us!!!

So yeah, enjoy!!! I think I love it ;-)

Labrinth - Let The Sun Shine

Labrinth is my favorite producer right now and I'm super pumped that he is coming out with his own solo material. He's got a great voice and could definitely rival Taio Cruz with this sort of stuff.

Also, the dancing in this video is SICK. CHECK IT OUT.

Usher ft. Pitbull - DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again [HQ] + Lyrics

I'm a fan of this tune because it's a great illustration of how the music industry is evolving in awesome ways. I've written a bit about how talented I think Taio Cruz is, and it's pretty impressive how he has sort of taken over the US Charts. This is pretty evident in this tune that Usher just released. The first time I heard it I thought it actually was Taio Cruz, but actually the vocals are too strong for that and obviously it's Usher. Anyways I think this is a great summer jam and I'm pumped for the videooo!

Ellie Goulding : The Writer

LOVE HER!!! And I think this is a pretty brilliant and stunning song. Ellie is doing something with music that is so different and exciting and I sort of love it. Between her and Vickers there is a whole new fun genre of girly pop that is becoming big and its so refreshing. I'm tired of Gaga and Xtina and all that junk... this stuff is so great!!!

Tinchy Stryder - In My System

New Tinchy!! Loving this one, its a great summer tune!

Travie McCoy: Billionaire ft. Bruno Mars [OFFICIAL VIDEO]

I could give our take Travis McCoy but I hafta say it... Bruno Mars is INSANEEEE. I can't wait to hear what he does solo (although I have a feeling I'll prefer him when he is coupled with someone who is rapping a bit). First time I heard this song I hated it... now I sorta love it. WHAT UP OPRAH?!?

World Cup Pt.3

Spain has made me cry twice over the course of this World Cup... the first time was when they lost their first game against Switzerland. I was super depressed that entire day and was going to pretty much swear off soccer if they lost another... and the second time was when they were hoisting up the WORLD CUP TROPHY today. I've been a fan since day one (well OK more like 2002 or so, but I did get really into the team in the last three years as it developed into what it is now) and it has been AMAZING to get them through both the Euro Cup and the World Cup. Mad props to them for keeping it together and scoring the goals when it mattered since the Switzerland defeat. The football hasn't always been pretty, but its been effective and the best team most certainly won.

Week Two!

Just a quick note to say that week one of the new fancy job was great. It was a lot of orientation sort of stuff, seeing as over 200 of us started together, but it was great to start to get a feel for the vibe at the place. I've got my fancy office and now I need to sort out some decorations and stuff... I'm moving into more specialized training this week, and then even more specialized stuff next week before I start to get to the meat of the actual position. I'm waiting to hear about a few trips that I may be taking in the coming months, so fingers crossed they are to good places ;-) So far so good though, just gotta get used to the 6:30am wake up time... clearly I'm not yet as its 12:15am and I'm still up... I'm gonna need LOTS of coffee tomorrow ;-)

xoxo Nora

B.o.B - Airplanes ft. Hayley Williams of Paramore [Official Music Video]

So I pointed out how big of a tune this is like two months ago and now it is definitely becoming one of the songs of the summer! HUGE TUNE. And the video is great... the effects with the lights are excellent yet super simple. Check itttt.

Today Was Interesting...

Had a bit of a strange day and thought I might as well post about it. Maybe its because I'm trying to re-find some of the legitimacy this blog was intended to have, or maybe because I'm bored as hell, but whatever the case here goes...

1. I've forgotten how small this town is. When I tell people where I'm from I always say Madison because they've maybe heard of it and it sounds more city ish. To be real I was born in a town called Cross Plains, at the time it had mayyybe 1000 residents, though thats probably a stretch. Its bigger now, but still maintains a total small town vibe. The town I live in now, Middleton, is maybe 20,000. Bigger, but still nothing compared to Chicago. Yeah my graduating class had like 500 kids in it, but we were from all over the area. Point is, this town is tiiiny. No joke, every single day since I've been home I've run into at least one person I know. Not like, walk past them on campus, but like, I just saw my 4th grade bffs Dad at a garage sale and he still remembers me. Awkward shit like that. Or running into a sort of friend from high school in the underwear department in Target this afternoon. That was cute.

2. This town is not only tiiiny, its rural as hell. I sort of forgot that I live two minutes from corn fields and that my allergies go bonkers this time of year. Don't have to deal with hayfever in Chicago, WHERE THERE IS NO HAY. At the same time I sort of like it... Its AMAZING for running and riding my bike, but its really missing that sparkle that Chicago has. Also, I'm pretty sure I smell a skunk out my open window right now and I'm not really ok with that. Typical.

3. I sort of resent the fact that you need a car to do anything here. I don't have one yet, which is part of it, but its still super annoying. Why can't I walk a couple blocks and end up at Starbucks, or better, Jimmy's? Why don't all of my friends live within a 20 minute walk or 5 minute shuttle ride from me? This whole car thing really cramps my style. Then you have to start dealing with parking spots (or garages if you are downtown, ugh), and gas money. Its no fun. And of course without a car yet I'm also stranded at my parents house unless the stars align and I'm able to steal my mom's mini van for a few hours. Let me tell you, rolling up to shit in a mini van is hot. If things work out I will hopefully have a new car by tomorrow, but my luck the car I want probably got sold yesterday and I have to start from square one. FML if that happens (which it will).

4. I went to my friend's little sister's high school graduation party today. This may sound weird, but its totally legit. I've known Monica since she was like three or four, and had a terrible bowl cut. I sort of felt I had to go. Of course it didn't disappoint at all. First person I saw... my friend Tanya, who I'd totally blown off plans with later in the afternoon because I wanted to spend a lot of time at the grad party (Read, this town is TOOO small). I had a great conversation with Monica (and my bff Catherine's) mom... she was a bit tipsy to be fair, but I love her. She's probably the closest thing to a "second mom" for me... known her since second grade and she's definitely watched over me a bit. I told her I'd friend her on Facebook, classic. Then the probably most awkward part of the day happened... the Roland's showed up (that's not awkward, they are good friends of mine) and I had a stunning conversation with their mother (that's the awkward bit). I've met her once, when I was 19 I think, and that evening in itself was incredibly awkward. I did not want to relive it (which we did) and I did not really want to discuss any other awkward things that have happened between me and that family (there are quite a few lol). As soon as she left I got myself another drink... just sayin. Then it was good from there for the most part. Hung out with a bunch of high school friends and the like, had a great catch up. And of course I got a great elitist jab in... One of the math teachers from my high school was there and my friends mom mentioned that a bunch of us had gone to Middleton and he asked if he'd had any of us as students or if we were "too advanced," to which I promptly and shamelessly pipped up, "I was too advanced!" We then proceeded to have a conversation about where we went to school and what we studied and I was able to redeem my elitism by talking about the UofC... lol whoops. I've got to learn to keep this sort of stuff in around these people. Or not.

5. My crazy grandma and her bf came tonight. I hated every minute of it, like I usually do, and drank two glasses of champagne and ate no dessert with the hope that the champagne would kick in faster. The highlight of the conversation was when I mentioned that I'd worked with a school in Lincoln Park on their Model UN stuff and my grandma's bf responded with "You know, there is a totem pole somewhere in Lincoln Park." That's right. Model UN --> Totem poles. Winners.

So yeah, you can see why some of this maybe needed to be documented? Or not... Who knows with me. All I'm sayin is that I'm pretty ready to buy a flipping car (tomorrow fingers crossed) and got rolling on the new fancy job. I swear if those people aren't semi normal I may runaway and never come back.

So OBSESSED.

I'm too obsessed with this song for my own good. Here is the Live Lounge version, which is, of course, AMAZING. Can Tinie Tempah's album just come out already?!?!?!?!?!?!

World Cup Pt. 2

1. So I breathed a HUGE sigh of relief when Spain won yesterday and managed to come out of their group in first position. I mean I for real cried when they lost their first game. I thought it was all over for them... but now things are a bit better. They are definitely not playing at 100% (hopefully they will soon) but they are getting tighter which is good. They've got a HUGE game against Portugal in a few days.... see my last post where I put that two of my three teams were Spain and Portugal? UGH and now they have to play each other... its the worst. Of course I'm all about Spain, but it sucks to see one of my teams go by default :(

2. I WAS SO HEARTBROKEN WHEN USA LOST TODAY. I cried. To be fair they just didn't have it today, Ghana was way tighter, and the US was letting a lot of stupid balls get through the defense. Don't get me wrong, I really wanted them to win, but still... could have done much better.

3. And it goes on... England v. Germany and Mexico v. Argentina tomorrow, two HUGE games!!! Would like to see England and Mexico get through, but it'll probably be the other two...

POINT MADE.

I regularly claim that while I don't like Justin Bieber at all, I quite like his songs. I usually argue that if Chris Brown sang his songs they would be absolute genius. Well... here is a PERFECT example of what I mean... Its Beaver with Usher. Listen to the Beaver part and then compare it to the Usher part. Its a hit! Just Usher sounds way much better. For real... check it out:

Aren't I right?

Loick Essien - Love Drunk

Here is a new one by one of my favorite producers at the moment... Labrinth!! Its not the greatest copy because its an early-ish leak, but you can get the feel for it. I bet once the actual copy is out the bass on this is going to be sick. I'm not sure how I like Loick Essien... he's nothing new, but its a great track (the credit be giving to Labrinth for that). I'll wait to make a full assessment until the actual mp3 is available and I can hear it in full quality.

GIGGS - Look What The Cat Dragged In OFFICIAL VIDEO

Haha I'm on a roll, love this one too.

I've also realized that all of my new co-workers will probably judge me hardcore about the music I like... LOL, but this shit is a tuuune.

Skepta - Rescue Me (Coming Out 27th June)

Big tune, and I sort of love this video. Its a bit mental, but I think thats supposed to be the point? I wish we had more stuff like this stateside, its a great sound.

Best World Cup National Tuuune

I'm not English, I'm not an England fan (ugh Wayne Rooney is the worst)... but England wins my unofficial competition for best Unofficial World Cup Tune. This song is slightly hilarious and having Dizzee Rascal (ft. James Corden! OMG I love him) on the track is quite impressive. And of course I would love to get up in the stands and sing Shout like that, it just looks like so much fun!!! Nice tuune.

World Cup Pt. 1

So its that time again... The World Cup is on the TV and I have done pretty much NOTHING but watch it since I got to my parents house a week ago.

I get judged for only caring about soccer during the World Cup (WHICH ISN'T TRUE) and all that, but really its just great to finally have the chance to watch some live soccer in the United States. Last time I got to do this was during the Euro Cup in 2008.

I don't have die hard alleigences towards the United States, although I am cheering for them to do well. I just know that realistically they won't make it much further than the Quarterfinals, so I've aligned myself with a few other teams for maximum enjoyment.

Since World Cup 2006 I've been a bit of a Portugal fan, nothing to crazy. Part of it is superficial because of Ronaldo (only part though) and part of it is out of respect for the quality of their play. They've got a few things going for them as a team, and hopefully they can string some stuff together and go deep.

I would be a France fan, seeing as I lived there for six months and all that, but that team has dissolved into a massive embarrassment so I'm just going to avoid aligning myself there. I will wear my France t-shirt on game days though, just out of respect for the beautiful nation.

My biggest allegience is to Spain. I don't know how this originated because the first time I went to Spain was in the winter of 2008 and I'd already supported them through the 2006 World Cup and 2008 Euro Cup... Anyways, I'm a huge Spain supporter, and I really hope they can do well in this tournament (I legit cried wen they lost to Switzerland in their first game). The Villa/Torres combo up front is awesome, and they've got a sick goalie too.

Anyways, between now and July 5th (when the fancy job starts) I'm pretty much just going to lay around on the couch and watch soccer... and maybe a little TOUR DE FRANCE when its starts on July 3rd (to be explained in a later post).

xoxoox Nora

p.s. Go SPAIN! USA! PORTUGAL ish!

Some Quick Updates

1. I graduated from college. A top ten school no less. With honors. No big deal or anything.

2. I've moved back in with my parents. This isn't as sad as it sounds, I've actually got a job lined up and an apartment... problem is that the dates don't really line up with right now. Job starts on July 5th and the apartment is a mid-July deal, so until then its with the olds.

3. The World Cup is on and I sort of love it, minus the bit about Spain losing today... UGH.

4. I get to go car shopping soon. SO EXCITED.

5. In the meantime I'm working my high school job for two weeks and wishing to kill myself... but I need the money so I'll suck it up and do it.

McFly: 5 colours - Rock in Rio Madrid 2010: 6 de Junio

OMG LOVE.

So I don't normally go for the pop rock thing... but you can't help but LOVE/ADORE McFly. To be fair they trend pretty close to boyband, but still... love themmm. This video is from a recent performance they did in Madrid and this song is their showstopper (literally they end their shows with it). They've got new stuff coming out this summer/fall and I am so STOKED!!!

3OH!3 - MY FIRST KISS feat. Ke$ha (Official Music Video)

Will I be embarrassed to blare this out of my car stereo when it is on the radio this summer? Ummmm... probably not ;-)

3oh!3 might be terrrrrible, but I still sort of love them haha.

Playlist #4 : Packing Jams / Summer Jams?

I'm packing up my apartment over the next week or so and moving off to Madison for the big job... OMG. Here are ten jams that will be blaring out of the speakers as I pack and could very well continue to be blaring out my speakers in my hot new car I'm getting after graduation ;-)

1. The Club is Alive -- JLS
SUMMER JAM RIGHT HERRRE. I just posted the video for it which I love love love and I CAN NOT wait to play it in my car. SO so so good.

2. On My Own -- Blame ft. Ruff Sqwad
This is basically a Tinchy Stryder track... and its damn good. I haven't heard a song with this sort of beat (its sort of frantic) before and its great. Check it.

3. Frisky -- Tinie Tempah ft. Labrinth
Labrinth is one of my top favorite producers (along with J.R. Rotem) and of course you've seen my obsession with Tinie Tempah. I flippin love this song.

4. Not Lost -- B.o.B ft. T.I.
This is a newer J.R. Rotem track and its really good. I like how versatile B.o.B is and this is actually a really good example of it. It's also a really happy song that makes you sort of feel good about yourself. I guess what I'm saying is that it has a good message.

5. Kickstarts -- Example
Example's new single, great beat. I really like how he is evolving into a sort of electro-pop rapper... it's cool.

6. Not Myself Tonight -- Christina Aguilera
The girl is back and this song is HOT. Like that one 30s/40s themed album she did was cute, but it was terrrible. I loved Stripped, so I'm glad she is going back to her dirtier roots. This is going to be a bit tune this summer... and hopefully it'll shut Lady Gaga up a bit, Xtina is wayy more talented ;-)

7. Take You There -- Sean Kingston
This is a bit old school but I'm sort of loving it at the moment... may have to do with my J.R. Rotem obsession right now. It's very summery and a great tune!

8. Saturday -- Basshunter
This is just a great dance tune, that is all.

9. Dirtee Disco -- Dizzee Rascal
Best take on Disco music everrr. Dizzee Rascal can get a bit mental and incomprehensible but this song does a good job of keeping the mood and still making sense. It'll be a great one for jamming to in the car as well.

10. Commander -- Kelly Rowland
Great tuuune. It's new and it's super hot. People forget about Kelly Rowland because of Beyonce but they shouldn't, this is a great tune and Kelly has a sick voice!

So yeah, here's to the beginning of summer and moving on to the next big thing!!!

xoxox Nora

DONE DONE DONE!

Just thought I'd let ya'll know that I have successfully completed my Undergraduate college experience as of this time yesterday. That means no more school, no more books, no more teachers dirty looks! WOOP WOOP!

So graduation isn't until June 12th, which sort of blows, but I guess is fine because we've got Senior Week lined up for all of next week. That basically means a ton of receptions, some BBQs, pub crawls, a trip to Six Flags, and a White Sox game!! Should be a great week to just relax and revel in what we've all just completed...

...AKA four years of hard-ass education at a Top 10 University... and in my case two majors and a minor plus six months abroad.

So here is to being done with undergrad and to SENIOR WEEK!!

JLS - The Club Is Alive [Official Video]

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMFG!

LOVE LOVE LOVE.

For serious, I love these boys probably more than I should, but it really can't be helped. I posted the clip of this song when it was released a couple weeks ago, saying I had mixed feelings about it... not anymore. I've pretty much fallen in love with it and I think the mood they try to capture in the music video helps the song A LOT! It's definitely a banger and I CAN NOT wait to have it blaring out my car as I drive around this summer... people are going to be jealousss!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!

Professor Green feat. Lily Allen - Just Be Good To Green (HD)

I'm a pretty big Lily Allen fan, but a lot of her stuff sort of blends together for me... this on the other hand is a GREAT side of her. She definitely needs to do more stuff like this. I'm indifferent about Pro Green... but I love Lily's bit in this!

Tinchy Stryder - Gangsta? (Game Over feat. Tinie Tempah)

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I'm glad Tinchy is finally putting out something new, and I sort of love Tinie Tempah (as is now painfully obvious...).

B.o.B "Lovelier Than You" UNPLUGGED

This guy is AMAZING. Another reason why I totally totally love him. He is supposed to be a rapper... so what is this? SO much talent.

New York Cityyy

So I spent all of last week in NYC for a Model United Nations event with the United Nations Association. This year was my third year doing this conference, and to be honest this conference is my favorite one that I do each year (sorry MUNUC/Chomun kids, its sort of true).

It was different for me this year though because I served as an Under-Secretary General (USG) for the Humanitarian committees. So basically I oversaw that these committees were run without a hitch. It was a big job. I spent the better part of the last six months training my staff via the internet and prepping the conference materials for these committees. No big deal.

I got to NYC on Monday last week and spent two days at the UNA office helping the other Senior Staff (the other USGs and fancy people) prep for the rest of the staff to arrive. Monday night we had a great dinner at Sam's parents house. Hayes (the SecGen/Head Honcho) made some INCREDIBLE pancakes. The staff arrived Tuesday afternoon and that evening I took the Humanitarian kids out for chicken wings (LOVE).

From there the conference unfolded and we all had a lot of fun. I'm not going to go into detail about every waking minute and what we did, but suffice it to say that I had a great time, and even though I thought this year was going to be my last year I may or may not have agreed to going back next year. The rest of the Senior Staff was AMAZING and we had so much fun getting to know each other and hanging out. I can honestly say that I loved/love every single one of them and we had no dramas! High-five!

Anyways I'll leave you with a few photos and a list of fun memories.

Eating KFC Double Downs. Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh my goshh. The Blarney Stone. Steven's motorboating thing. Sailboating? Call signs. When Imbrenda split his pants. Chicken Wings. Little pants-less Sammy. Club TOUCH.

All Staff Photo in GA Hall. LOVE!

CHICKEN WINGS!

Being all Legit with my walkie talkie in the UN building.

Can't wait till next year!

Tinie Tempah performs 'Frisky' - Radio 1's Big Weekend in Bangor

I'm SO SO SO OBSESSED WITH THIS AT THE MOMENT. I wish I'd been there to see it!!!

Aggro Santos feat Kimberly Wyatt - Candy (Official Video) (OUT NOW!!!!!)

Fun dance tune. I particularly like the video if only because I would LOOVE to have a glow in the dark super soaker/water balloon fight! Check ittt.

Tinie Tempah ft. Labrinth - Frisky (HD)

I think I posted the audio to this one already, but here is the video. Tinie Tempah is one of my number one fave rappers right now, and Labrinth (the guy who produced this) is doing so pretty cool things. My roommates sort of hate me because I play this a lot and rather loud, and well they don't like rap ;-)

Kid Sister - Daydreaming

This is a really great song from an up and coming artist. The one downer is she's a pretty shit actress so the video is a bit painful to watch, but the song is really good. I like the second verse, when she takes it double time and does a bit of a rap on it. Good stuff.

JLS -- The Club is Alive

So JLS have released a minute of their upcoming single "The Club is Alive" ...of course this had me up early and squealing like a tween, but who cares right? I sat down before work this morning and listened through it once, and then again, and then I put it on the loud speakers because my roommates were up and had one more listen.

http://www.jlsofficial.com/gb/songs/the-club-is-alive/

After the first listen I was a bit confused. Was this really JLS? The second listen through was better as I started to feel the vibe of the song and all that. And then on the speakers... I feel in love.

The track is a bit different than their past tracks, which is already creating some controversy online. It's definitely a big dance number, intended to be a summer jam type song... hence the name "The Club is Alive". There is a lot of effects on it, and they use autotune a bit (which let's be real is in these days... ask the Black Eyed Peas, Ke$ha, Gaga...), but JLS is still down there. The hook bit is straight up boy band harmony, so JLS are still in there doubters.

The most unsettling bit on first listen was the sound of music sample... "the club is alive with the sound of music" But after a few listens I actually really like that part, and think Steve Mac (the producer) is sort of a genius. It's insanely catchy too, I've already gotten it stuck in my head and I've only heard a one minute clip.

The boys have pretty much achieved everything they've needed to in this record. It's almost summertime and they need a big banger and they've got one. I predict it'll go big in the UK Charts, and it could do well in the US if they chose to release it over here. It'll also let them take some time to sort out a big jack-the-lad swing hit for the fall which will be more vocally challenging...

I'm definitely looking forward to the full version and the video, watch this space for more ;-)

B.o.B- Not Lost (feat. T.I.) [Best Quality w/ lyrics]

BIG TUUUNE. It's a shame that it isn't on the album, it's huge. Also the producer on the track is JR Rotem who is pretty much my favorite producer at this point (think Jason Derulo's 'Whatcha Say', Iyaz' 'Replay' and JLS' 'Everybody in Love'). For real though, this is so goooood. Obviously I'm obsessed with B.o.B at present ;-)

Sam Sparro - Black and Gold

I've been a bit obsessed with this song for the last two days. Not entirely sure why. I also quite enjoy the Katy Perry cover and the Ellie Goulding one too. It's a cool song and you can definitely do a lot with it.

Album Suggestion -- B.o.B

I normally just post youtube videos of the songs I'm liking at the moment, but I felt like I needed to put this up or my entire blog would be filled with B.o.B videos. If you haven't already, I highly HIGHLY recommend you check out B.o.B's new album "B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray". I got it on a whim because I was sort of liking the current single off of it (Nothing On You) and I instantly feel in love. The single is probably my LEAST favorite song on the album, which is saying a lot considering I actually quite like the single. The album is quite diverse, and includes some pretty cool collabs (Haley from Paramore is on it, as is Eminem and Lupe Fiasco). My fave tune on the album is "Past My Shades" which is sort of an anthem to being a baller featuring Lupe Fiasco. I also quite like "Don't Let Me Fall" and "Lovelier Than You". I was surprised on these tracks that not only does B.o.B rap, he also sings. Seriously, if you are looking for something fresh and new for the summer, get thissss. I LOVE ITTT!!

Blame ft. Ruff Sqwad - On My Own (Official Video) - Out 25th April 2010

Just heard this on BBC Radio 1xtra and nearly died. SUCH A TUUUNE! Why is Tinchy Stryder so ahhhmazin lol?

JLS MEET AND GREET VIDEO!!

This the video posted from the meet and greet with JLS!! I'm the one sitting in the front row to the left while they are performing, although I'm a bit pissed they didn't post any video of our meet and greet :( It's ok, I've got the pictures to prove it. Still, pretty hot right?!?! LOVE THEM! Greatest day EVERRR.

Updates.

Just thought I'd share a few updates on how things are going chez moi! To be fair, my life is quite boring right now, but things are going to start ramping up again in the next few weeks.

1. Model UN -- It's totally dominating my life right now, which is totally awesome! I love MUN more than just about anything, and it has definitely defined my college career. HAHA. Friday I did a simulation/training session with Newberry Academy, a middle school on the northside. We did the typical fruits and vegetables thing that I love and I taught them all the rules of procedure. It was quite hilarious, particularly when the banana delegation started to go on about sexual education and then cucumber joined in (haha, get it?). Next Friday I'm the Secretary-General for Global Classrooms Chicago, which is a pretty big deal. I'm just in charge, ya know... then in just over two weeks I'm flying to New York City to be an Under-Secretary General for the UNAs number one high school conference (AT THE UN!).

2. School -- It's my last quarter of undergrad, my thesis is in, I've pretty much shut down... haha.

3. Life -- Still working out plans for next year. Looking for a car and an apartment right now. It's not as easy as you'd think :(

HAHA that's all. Things are pretty chill right now.

xoxo Nora

Chipmunk - Until You Were Gone Feat. Esmee Denters

If you've ever actually looked at the videos I post then you'll already know that I love Chipmunk. I'm not entirely sure why this is, but I really like the happier up-beat vibe that his songs have. A lot of the artists in his genre are pretty angry, so its refreshing to have something a bit nicer to listen to. This is Chippy's newest single... tomorrow it'll be known if it charts at #1 or #2 (against Diana Vickers, which I LOVE as well).

Florence and the Machine -- Dog Days -- House of Blues Chicago

I went to this show on April 12th. It may have been the best live set I have ever seen in my life! Florence is incredibly talented, and she is one of those artists that sounds way better live than on the CD because you can really get a feel for her amazing voice live. Such a great time.

Unfortunately this is a short clip and its not the best quality. But still, you get the gist of it right? SO GOOD.

B.o.B - Airplanes Feat. Hayley Williams of Paramore

I prefer to share music videos so you can really get the essence of a song, but this one just doesn't have a video to go with it and it needs to be shared. HOT TRACK. B.o.B is gonna dominate the airwaves this summer, just warning you now ;-)

I'm a big fan of this track as it crosses over the pop/rock genre with the hip-hop genre, a sort of crossover that is becoming more relevant today.

Also, listen to Airplanes pt.2 featuring Eminem. Also, good, though I prefer this version.

GREATEST DAY OF MY LIFE?!?

So today I met JLS.

Yeah, them. That boyband that I'm LEGIT obsessed with. Yeah.

It was all a bit of a whirlwind to be honest. Sunday evening I was just dicking around on the internet like I tend to do, and a tweet came up from JLSOfficial: "Ya boys have just landed in milwaukee.. Let radio promo begin!! Jbs is already at the doctors with a bad throat!! Ax" Reading this I doubletaked like FIVE times at the word milwaukee. Why the hell would they be in Wisconsin...my home state?

So then I did a lot of quick research. I figured that if they were in Milwaukee chances were VERY good they would end up in Chicago. After a search I found that they were doing something at KISS FM in Chicago... and that you could win a chance to see them sing a few songs and MEET THEM!

I spent the better part of Sunday evening entering the contest and playing the games that allow you more entries... not gonna lie, I entered a good 200 times ;-)

Then Monday I got a call while at work saying I'd won! Honestly I didn't think I would but I totally did. It was ahhhmazin. I may have cried a bit at that point but whatever.

So then today, Tuesday, I went down to KISS FM for the event. They had us all meet up in the front lobby and we waited for the sound checks and whatever they were doing up in the Lounge. It was funny though, because I was there with my friend Felicity, and we had one of the best people watching experiences of our lives. Seriously some super random people were there. Oh, and while we were waiting I totally saw the band walk past the window and go in a different door. No one else noticed though, and I didn't say anything... haha. It was probably good that happened though, because it sort of calmed me a bit for when they came out to sing, as I'd already seen them once.

We got let up into the Lounge and they tried to take some pictures of us and stuff for the website holding sponsors stuff. I didn't really play, but whatever. Then... the boys came out! I think I held it together pretty well considering. They preformed two songs. An a capella version of Shai's "If I Ever" which was their audition piece for X Factor... and is INCREDIBLE. Like they need to get that recorded and on an album. And then they did Everybody in Love with a backing track. I was a bit surprised that they sort of did the choreography considering they were on a tiny stage, but I wasn't complaining. Again, amazing performance! I was a bit nervous that they would suck or something and I would be disappointed, but if anything seeing them today just made me more obsessed with them... and it makes me want to make sure London happens in December.

After the songs they stayed up on stage and we were allowed to go up one by one and get a picture and an autograph or whatever. I was pretty much dying waiting in line...

When I got up there I not only got hugs off of all of them, but kisses too! Fist thing I noticed was how amazing they all smelled. Seriously, it like rubbed off on my cardigan. They signed my JLS calender (yes I have one) and were shocked that I had it considering it's not available in the US. As they were finishing signing it Felicity told them about how I was coming to London to see them perform in December. I think they were pretty surprised by that... Marvin literally asked "You mean you are coming to London just to see us?" I sheepishly nodded my head, haha. After that bit they added "Nora, We Love You!" to my calender. HAHA. Then I got my picture done with them, and then made Felicity do one with them and me too. And then we were pretty much ushered out. But still... HOLY SHIT.

I didn't actually cry at the event, but I definitely did when I got home. Whatever, it was pretty much the highlight of my life. HAHA. I'm DEFINITELY going to make December work now... I mean I told them I have the tickets, so now they are going to expect that I show up!

It was a total whirlwind though. I found out about it less than 48 hours before the actual event, but I totally made it work! Love them!!!

Here are some of my pictures from the event... I didn't take a lot because the KISS FM people had cameras all up in my business so I figured I could steal theirs later and instead enjoy the event. Here we gooo...

Jack-the-Lad Swing! Singing "If I Ever". Marvin sang it AT ME at one point... swoon.

Getting my calender signed. I was dying a little bit inside. HAHA.

JB, Marvin, Me, Oritse, and Aston. OMGGGG. This is already framed on my desk haha.

So yeah, greatest day of my life?!? Ummm, yes!

xoxo Nora

Playlist #3--My 10 Fave Albums.

I decided that I was going to make this playlist during History of the American Revolution today because I had a song I really like in my head and then I thought about how good that album is and then I thought I could make a cool playlist out of it.

So, this playlist is my favorite single off of each of my ten favorite albums.

It doesn't necessarily mean that they are my favorite songs off of each album, but I thought it would be cooler to work with singles because they are easier to find if you were ever in the mood for looking up the songs.

I couldn't possibly rank the albums because I love them for different reasons, so they are in no particular order. Also, my opinions change a lot, so these might not be my faves in a few months time ;-)

1. Crash and Burn
By: Savage Garden
Album: Affirmation
I absolutely adore Darren Hayes, and I think Affirmation is the best album he ever worked on (although his solo album The Tension and The Spark is amazing as well). I love love love this album!!!

2. Stargirl
By: McFly
Album: The Motion in the Ocean
I first became acquainted with McFly's music through their Greatest Hits album, which I felt was a bit of a cop out on this. Then I thought about it a bit more and realized all of my favorite tracks off of Greatest Hits are also on Motion in the Ocean. This album embodies pop rock better than any I've got on my iTunes.

3. Starry Eyed
By: Ellie Goulding
Album: Lights
This is a relatively new album to my repertoire and I can't get enough of it. Goulding's voice is a bit strange but there is this sort of whimsicalness to it that I sort of love. And the sort of electronic-pop sound is great for chilling out. Loves it.

4. I Want It That Way
By: Backstreet Boys
Album: Millenium
Ok so Millenium might actually be my favorite album of all time. There are very few albums (ok, maybe one other that I'm going to mention in a minute) that I can listen to all the way through with out getting bored of a song. There is always a track or two you just want to skip right? Not with this album, I love it to death. It also has a lot of personal importance to me because I was sort of obsessed with this album from when I was ten or whatever, and my first concert was definitely the Millennium tour... but still. This album embodies the boy band sound better than any, ever.

5. Sweet and Low
By: Augustana
Album: Can't Love, Can't Hurt
This album is not of a genre that people usually associate with me, but I don't really care. I enjoy it because they are well-constructed pop songs that don't have a lot of complicated bits to it. It's good for work or for just chilling out a bit... and I like the main guys voice haha.

6. Pass Out ft. Eva Simmons
By: Chris Brown
Album: Graffiti
I'll admit straight up that I still totally love Chris Brown even though I know he is not the safest guy around. I really like Graffiti because it has so many different types of tracks on it. Instead of being the same sound throughout you can tell that they were exploring lots of different genres/beats/whatever. I prefer the dance tunes and the ballads to some of the stranger more experimental ones, but the whole album is pretty fun to listen to.

7. Popular
By: The Veronicas
Album: Hook Me Up
I pretty much played this album to death on my ipod when I lived in Paris and had to take the metro to school every morning. For some reason it was just the perfect album to get me awake and to class. That's why its still pretty important to me I guess.

8. Floorfiller
By: A*Teens
Album: Pop Til You Drop!
Judge me all you want. LOVE THIS ALBUM! There is nothing catchier than an A*Teens song, I promise you. I can play it over and over forever.

9. Gift of a Friend.
By: Demi Lovato
Album: Here We Go Again
Guilty pleasure, don't judge. Love her voice.

10. One Shot
By: JLS
Album: JLS
Not since Millennium came out in 1999 have I been obsessed with an album/band as much as I am with this one. Boy band stuff aside, this album is an excellent revival of the old school pop sound that was popular at the beginning of the 2000s. Not only are the vocal harmonies spot on boy band, the album also takes on the more current R&B/Hip-Hop sound that is permeating radio these days (think Chris Brown/Ne-Yo) and boy bandifies it. I LOVEEEE IT. (And I'm totally going to their tour in December lol). Like I said with BSB, it says a lot when you can listen through an album without wanting to skip a track... and I definitely can with this one.

THESIS DONEEEEEEE

So I turned in my Bachelor's Thesis yesterday. It's called "The Question of Equitable Representation on the United Nations Security Council: A Model for Institutional Change." Sounds like a snooze-fest doesn't it? Well its not. Its amazing. It also means that I can OFFICIALLY graduate in June. BOO YAAA. This weekend is all about celebrating!!!

WHOOP WHOOP.

ChoMUN

I don't know if I actually ever posted on here about the Cherokee Nation simulation that some of my besties and I were planning for our college Model United Nations conference, but yeah, it was a week ago. It was a pretty ahhhmazin time... they managed to sort of avoid the Trail of Tears and the Texans lost the Battle of the Alamo. Whoops.

Here are a few shoots I stole from other people from Conference.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I pretended to be Grandmother Willow from Pocahontas. I had branches and everything. Actually that was pretty awesome.

Mayon and I. Co-Crisis Directors slash Model UN soulmates. Hard at work (yes I've got fire, worst idea everrr).

Cherokee Nation staff. COLOR COORDINATED! Pink/Purple Day!!!

BLUE/WHITE DAYY!! LOVE THEM ALL (MOSTLY)!!!

Can we do this again some time? I miss the inappropriate jokes already. K great.

COSTA RICAAAA.

So I went to Costa Rica a little less than a month ago. I'm SUCH A BITCH for not posting anything about it... sorry ;-)

The trip was all I dreamed it would be an more. I got to see a volcanic eruption (only 3 out of every 1 million people ever get to witness one), I zip-lined through an actual rainforest, I went on a night hike and saw actual sloths and tarantulas in the wild, I jumped off a water fall, I swam in the Pacific Ocean... and I got RIDICULOUSLY sunburnt. SUCCESS!

So here are a few pictures of the best moments on the trip! Enjoy!

Yes that is an ACTUAL VOLCANO.

I'm on a boat... riding away from the actual volcano.

Just like flying through the rainforest with my friend Liz. Nearly died there, no big deal or anything.

An actual sloth, size of a kindergartner.

Just hanging out at some waterfall that I swam in and stuff.

PACIFIC OCEANNNN!!!

And that's the sunburn. Great moment, was eating dinner like eight feet from the actual Pacific Ocean.

So yeah, good times. Go back soon?

Plan B - Pass Out (Tinie Tempah) - Live Lounge

Quick Update

So I'm sitting in Crerar right now attempting to right my Constitutional Law final, which if you know me means I'm actually either looking out the window or playing on youtube, but still. I thought I would post a quick update because the last six things I've posted up in herrr have all been youtube videos :-/

Anyways, its the Saturday before finals week OFFICIALLY begins. Which means we're all basically in hell right now. I finished classes on Wednesday, which was nice, and I've been "doing work" for the last few days. Whatever that means.

The first big news I should share is that I passed Econ! It was a bit touch and go there for awhile, but I think I got pity points on my last midterm which tipped me to the P side. For serious, going into the last midterm I had 45/88 points in the class, one point more than passing. Somehow I managed to end it with 71/122, which was a flippin miracle. I don't have to take the final because he drops the worst score and I'm already at the grade I want (a P!). And I'm like going abroad soon anyways.

The thesis is going OK. I totally reformatted it so I've basically started over, which is fine, but now I've really got to hunker down and write the thing. My ADD has been preventing this so far, so its been a real fight. Need a draft to be done before I'm outta here on Tuesday night though. Ughhhh. It's definitely going to be a battle and a half.

My only other commitment is Constitutional Law. I've whined about this to loads of people, but our prompt basically goes on about figure skating for a page and then at the very bottom asks a really really broad/vague question. I can't get past the figure skating though. Because when I think about Evan Lysachek I think about how he is going to be on Dancing with the Stars. Then I think about Buzz Aldrin the astronaut... and then I think about what Matt told me, how Joy off of the View wants to see Buzz Aldrin do the Moonwalk. OMG. Con Law-->Moonwalk. Shit.

So I keep alluding to going abroad and whatever. Yeah, I am. Flying to COSTA RICA! for Spring Break on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Our flight is at like 5:30am so I'm not sure if I should place leaving under Tuesday or Wednesday because I'll still sort of be awake. No bigs. I'm super super excited. Weather reports have things in the 80s and 90s, so I get to bust out the shorts, the shades and FOR SURE the swimsuit. And then I'll come back to the US super tan and everyone I know will be jealous ;-)

OK, back to it, been wasting enough time.

xoxo Nora

Macklemore - And We Danced

HOT SONG.

I sort of stole it off of a friends facebook... but for real, this is going to be the highlight of tomorrow nights Friday Floorfillers. We sort of do a dance party for an hour every Friday night. I play some good songs on my speakers as loud as my roommates/neighbors allow and we just rave for a bit, wind down from the week. Its super fun.

And if I'm too lazy to do my own Friday Floorfillers I use the ones from Scott Mills... http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006wqcb

Friday tomorrow!!!

Hot Mash-Up (JLS, Jason Derulo, Beaver)

Bieber/JLS/Derulo Mash-up!

I kind of love this, MINUS the Justin Beaver bit. Although most of the Beaver stuff is actually just the back beat of his track, which is fine because its ok. Keep his voice off the track though. It's like nails on a flipping chalkboard. The rest though, HOTTT!!!

The Ataris - In This Diary

One of my fave songs of all time. The lyrics are badass and super true and whatever, and it has a nice upbeat rhythm. I used to be more rock and roll than I am now ;-)

JLS Brits Performance - Beat Again (HD)

Going to see them live in London in December. If the show is half as cool as this... holy shit I'm in for a great one!

Lemar Ft. JLS -- What About Love

There's a ballad to add to the Best Boy Band Ballads Playlist. HOT DAMN.

GOT A JOB OFFER!!!

OMG OMG OMG!!!

I got a job offer at that place I interviewed at recently. Wow! I'm sort of in shock still, didn't expect that at all.

It sort of makes my blog feel lame, because the intention was to write all about my struggles to find a job and whatever, but now I have an offer! Less than two months in. Wow.

Of course I still write on here about graduating and whatever. Oh and finding an apartment in my new (old!) town and um, FINDING A CAR!! Next few months are a little less stressful now, but still very very exciting! Can't wait!

But shit man, life just got real!

WOoooooooo!!!
